Special Needs Athletic Program
It is the purpose of the White House Parks & Recreation Department and local volunteers to provide opportunities for mentally and physically challenged individuals to participate in sports events/leagues in a recreational, non-competitive setting. This volunteer based organization began in March 2005. It focuses on giving children with special needs an opportunity to participate in sports such as basketball, baseball, and soccer in a recreational, non-competitive setting.
