Limb and Leaf Removal

  • The City had a curbside collection program for tree limbs, yard waste and leaves. This program is designed to remove small amounts of tree trimmings per collection period. It is not designed to allow you to clear your property of trees.
  • Please refer to the schedule below for the collection week in your area.
  • You should place your material at the curb before your scheduled zone collection week.
  • All leaves must be bagged in brown paper bags provided by the city for collection and limbs must be no longer than six (6) feet in length. These brown bags can be found at Public Works (725 Industrial Dr.) or at City Hall at the Wasterwater Payments window.
  • Tree trunks six (6) inches or more shall be cut into lengths of no more than two (2) feet and a weight of no more than fifty (50) pounds.
  • Leaves and limbs must be placed neatly along the curbside for the automated truck arm to reach. Do not mix bagged leaves with limbs, place in a seperate area.
  • Please note that this program is designed for the resident who makes his own cuts, not for collection of limbs trimmed by private companies.
  • Residents may still bring bagged leaves and limbs directly to the Public Works facility at 725 Industrial Drive free of charge during regular business hours.
  • No dumping is allowed after hours in the front of the Public Works building.
  • Should you have any questions or you receive a violation tag, please call the Public Services Department at 615-672-3654.
