Notice is hereby given that the Board of Zoning and Appeals Board of the City of White House, Tennessee, will meet on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, in the Board Chambers Room of the Billy S. Hobbs Municipal Building, at 105 College Street, to hear the following request:


Item #1        MID AMERICA DISTRIBUTORS, INC: Request a variance from the Zoning Ordinance Section 4.030 Temporary Use Regulations, Item B Temporary Sales regarding restrictions on hours of operation.


The City extends an invitation to the public to attend this hearing for any questions or comments on the proposed request.

Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of White House, Tennessee, will meet on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 7:00 pm, in the Board Chambers Room of the Billy S. Hobbs Municipal Building, at 105 College Street to discuss the following agenda items:

 

Item#1            Summerlin Phase Two- Planning/Codes Staff: Requests $ 88,675 Subdivision Improvement bond extension. Goodall Homes- Project Developer

Item#2            Zoning Ordinance Amendment-Planning/Codes Staff: Request recommendation to the Board of Mayor and Aldermen to amend the Zoning Ordinance Section 5.055 Floodway and Flood Fringe Districts to add a reference section and relocate ordinance section to the Stormwater Section of the Municipal Code, increase minimum finished floor elevations for residential and non-residential buildings and electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment,  prohibit basement structures in designated floodplain areas, require compensated fill in designated flood plain areas, and change the applicable appeals board.

Item#3            Zoning Ordinance Amendment-Planning/Codes Staff: Request recommendation to the Board of Mayor and Aldermen to amend the Zoning Ordinance Section 5.056.5 Residential Design Standards (F) Suburban Residential Planned Unit regarding reduced density and increased minimum lot areas and setbacks and 5.056.7 (6) and (7) Street Design and Street Improvements to remove conflicts with City’s Subdivision Regulations regarding street and sidewalk requirements. 

 

Item#4            Jim Brinkley Realtors, Inc.: Requests approval for a SR 76 Highway Corridor Sign at the intersection of SR 76 and Dee Cee Drive. The Board of Mayor and Aldermen are reviewing a Zoning Ordinance amendment to permit the type of sign.
