Board of Construction Appeals
Wednesday, September 20, 2017

The City of White House Board of Construction Appeals will meet Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 8:00 a.m., in the Board Chambers Room of the Billy S. Hobbs Municipal Building, at 105 College Street.  

1.   Eric and Amy Enck: Requests an application for an appeal as an equivalent method of protection from the City of White House 2006 International Fire Code Section 508.5.1, Fire Protection Water Supplies regarding the maximum distance of a fire hydrant from proposed building construction. Property is located at 7709 Boyles Road.  

 

The city extends an invitation to the public to attend this hearing for any questions or comments on the proposed request.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the City of White House, Tennessee, will meet in regular session on Thursday, September 21, 2017, for the purpose of hearing the following:

·        Ordinance 17-25: An ordinance to delete the Municipal Code Title 2, Chapter 5 Museum/Visitor Center Board. Second Reading.

·        Ordinance 17-26: An ordinance amending the Municipal Code Title 5, Chapter 2 Real Property Taxes, Section 5-202. Second Reading.

·        Ordinance 17-27: An ordinance amending the Zoning Map for a 60.38 acre property relative to Robertson County Tax Map 96, Parcels 35, 36, 37, and 38 from R-15 to SPRUD. Second Reading.

·        City of White House Annual  Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Annual Report

The meeting will take place at 7:00 pm at the Billy S. Hobbs Municipal Center located at 105 College Street. 

 

The following ordinances and resolution were passed at the August 17th Board of Mayor and Aldermen meetings: 

·        Ordinance 17-22: An ordinance amending the fiscal budget for the period ending June 30, 2018. Ordinance 17-23: An ordinance to de-annex certain territories within the corporate boundaries of the City of White House,      Tennessee.

·        Ordinance 17-24: An ordinance to de-annex certain territories within the corporate boundaries of the City of White House, Tennessee.

·        Resolution 17-08: A resolution deleting the records management policies and procedures policy and adopting a replacement public records policy.

Beer Board

There will be a meeting of the White House Beer Board for a public hearing and to consider the application for an on and off premises beer permit for Mr. Bradley Singleton and Mr. Spencer Wakefield of White House Pizza and Pub located at 2404 Hwy 31W.

 

The meeting will be at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at the Billy S. Hobbs Municipal Building, located at 105 College Street.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the City of White House, Tennessee, will meet on Thursday, October 12, 2017, for a study session to discuss emergency medical services in White House city limits. The meeting will take place at 6:00 pm at the Billy S. Hobbs Municipal Center located at 105 College Street.

The City of White House Planning Commission will move the regular scheduled meeting from Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. to Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will take place in the Board Chambers Room of the Billy S. Hobbs Municipal Building, at 105 College Street.
