The White House Municipal Court tries persons charged with the violation of municipal ordinances and shall have the power to levy fines, penalties and costs, not to exceed the maximum allowed under state law.

Court Date

Your court date is located at the bottom or your citation. If your court date is not legible, please contact the clerk's office at 615-672-4350, ext. 2137 to confirm your court date.

 

To Change a Court Date

Call the Court Clerk's office at 615-672-4350, ext. 2137 to explain your scheduling problem. The clerk will review your court date with you to resolve any scheduling issues. If your court date is changed by the clerk, you will not receive an updated or additional notice. You may only reschedule your court date once and a $5.00 rescheduling fee will apply.

 

Not Attending Court

If you do not wish to appear in court, you must pay the listed amount for your citation(s) before or on your court date. Payment can be made in person or by mail. Only checks or money orders are accepted if mailing payment. Payment can be made in person at the clerk’s office, which is open Monday through Thursday, 7:15 am until 5:15 pm, except holidays. The clerk’s office is located at 105 College Street, White House, TN. Failure to pay traffic fines will result in the suspension of your driver license.

 

Plead Not Guilty

If you wish to plead not guilty to your citation(s), you must contact the clerk’s office at (615) 672-4350 ext. 2137 to schedule a not guilty court date. You will be assigned to a not guilty court date and the officer will be summoned to attend your trial.

 

Failure to Appear

If you fail to appear in court, you must call the clerk’s office at (615) 672-4350, ext. 2137 and inform the clerk of your failure to appear. You may then: 1) Pay the cost of the citation plus any late fees - or - 2) Request a new court date with the clerk. Failure to comply with the above will result in the suspension of your driver's license.
