Board of Zoning Appeals
This board consists of five members appointed to three-year terms by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen. The Board of Zoning Appeals hears appeals, variance requests, special exception requests, zoning map boundary and zoning ordinance interpretations.
Meetings
The Board of Zoning Appeals meets on an as needed basis on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Billy S. Hobbs Municipal Center located at 105 College Street. All items on the agenda are open to the public for comments. Refer to the Planning and Codes Department page for more information regarding zoning ordinances.
